CAREERS
Mentoring matches librarians and information specialists with SILS students to give students an opportunity to discover more about their field of interest.

The SILS Alumni Association and the Information and Library Science Students Association (ILSSA) sponsor an annual Mentoring Celebration in the spring.

Mentors do not need years of experience in their field. The perspective of someone new to the workforce can be especially interesting to students.

If you are a professional who would like to get involved with the mentoring program, contact Alumni Association President Andy Ingham at andy_ingham@unc.edu for more information.
