SILS Skype Accounts

Skype is used regularly by faculty, students and staff to faciltate communications at a distance.  Free personal Skype accounts allow for two-party connections and desktop sharing.

SILS has paid Skype accounts available to faculty and staff who wish to use Skype's group calling features.  These special Skype logins allow for up to 10 people on a single Skype call using audio and video for each person.  Desktop sharing, however, is still only available on calls between two participants.  Each paid account has unlimited calls to landlines and cell phones in the United States and Canada.
