Printing in the Lab
Printing from a SILS Lab Computer
There are two printers in the SILS Lab, one black-and-white and one color. The SILS Lab computers are tied to the CCI printer for black-and-white printing.
Color Printing
-
Color printing is limited to no more than 5 pages per day. If you need more than 5 pages printed in color, please see the alternate locations here: http://help.unc.edu/help/its-labs-cci-printing-faqs/#P54_4654
-
In the print dialogue box of the application your working in, select "sils_lab_color" from the printer dropdown menu. If the color printer is not listed there, please see the section below on "Adding the color printer"
-
Please note: You will not have to name your print job or swipe your card. Your pages will go to the color printer at the Help Desk. See the Lab Assistant to pick up the pages.
