First, create your envelope. (You can use the Microsoft Word 2003 envelope wizard to create one. From Word's File menu, choose New, then in the right pane choose "On my computer" under Templates. Under , choose Envelope Wizard, then click .)
-
Go to , and (or use the wizard's print option). Select the SILSQue1 on AUXPRINT2. The dialogue box for the printer has a button in the top right corner. Click it.
-
Select Manual Feed(Tray 1) (manual) from the drop-down menu in the Source is field, and click . (If you use the Microsoft Word envelope wizard, it will do this for you when you ask the wizard to print your envelope.) This will send your job to the printer, and hold it there for you until you arrive, physically, at the printer with your envelope. There should be a prompt for your job on the display on top of the printer, and the red attention light should be flashing.
-
Now, open the manual feed tray (see the picture below). The printer will sense the paper and print your envelope.
-
Set the guides to fit your envelope and place the envelope face up (with the opening facing down) with the open end facing toward the left.
-
Back at your computer, set the paper source back to a non-manual tray so the next print job works normally.
