Sound problems
There are several ways to make sure that sound is coming from the computer.
-
Adjust volume on the computer. First, open the volume control by clicking on the volume control icon on the taskbar.
-
Click on the "Mixer" link within the volume window to open the Volume Mixer window. Adjust the "Windows Sounds" volume and the "Speakers" volume up or down as needed. Make sure that the Mute boxes (highlighted below) are NOT selected. If the boxes look the same as the following screenshot, the sound is on. If there is a small red circle with a line through it next to the speaker, the sound is muted.
- Adjust the volume within the application you are running.
-
Adjust the volume on the receiver (Only for Room 117).
