For help with your master's paper, please see the SILS Electronic Theses and Dissertations page, which offers both formatting instructions and a template.
The ETD page provides a link to a template that follows SILS guidelines for formatting master's papers and also generates metadata about the paper for students. The template - which is not mandatory - cannot generate metadata if you use it from off campus. If you DO NOT use the template, you will have to enter your metadata a second time when submitting your paper to DSpace.
Even if you are not using the template for the metadata, you can still use it for formatting and Word to PDF conversion instructions. The instructions on the ETD page are helpful for formatting master's papers in Word whether or not people are using the template.
More master's paper guidelines can be found on the SILS Master's Paper Guidelines page.
