An Introduction to the SILS ITRC
Welcome
The SILS Information and Technology Resource Center (ITRC) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill offers many resources for SILS' students. The ITRC is located on the first floor of Manning Hall and is run by knowledgeable staff and students who are available whenever the lab is open. At the ITRC you will find:
- The SILS Library's stacks which contain a sizeable collection of books and journals relevant to SILS students.
- The SILS Computer Lab which is equipped with PCs and Macs with a wide variety of software, as well as scanners, multimedia equipment, web cams and technical manuals.
- The SILS Help Desk where students, faculty and staff can get their questions answered. Lab Assistants are happy to answer your questions and point you to the right resouces. Using UNC ONE Cards, SILS students can print and check out equipment including laptops, digital cameras, digital voice recorders, camcorders and more.
