Book Awards to be Presented at Reception

All SILS students, faculty, staff, and alumni are cordially invited to a reception hosted by the SILS Alumni Association on Tuesday, September 10 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the lobby of Manning Hall. Please join us for this annual event and fun opportunity to meet new classmates, chat with your colleagues at SILS, network with local library and information professionals, and enjoy some delicious refreshments.

During the reception, the Alumni Association will hold a drawing for its Book Scholarship Awards through the Elfreda Chatman Fund for Books and Research Fund. Two $100 scholarships for graduate students and one $50 scholarship for an undergraduate minor. The drawing will take place at 5:15 p.m., and you must attend to put your name into the drawing.
