Planning begins for SILS 75th anniversary

The School of Information and Library Science will celebrate its 75 th anniversary beginning fall 2006. To prepare for the year-long celebration, a planning committee has been formed.

At the initial meeting, members of the group discussed ideas for activities and events for the celebration. In addition to reviewing feedback from the SILS Alumni Association Board and the SILS Board of Visitors, the group conducted a brainstorming session, developed a preliminary time line and compiled a list of possible activities that may be offered throughout the year.
