Through a frosty window: winter stories 2006

photo of Professor Brian Sturm wearing bunny earsChildren and adults alike will want to attend the annual Winter Stories on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

"Through a Frosty Window: Winter Stories 2006" will be presented on Thursday, December 7 at 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Pleasants Family Room of the Louis Round Wilson Library.

The performance highlights storytellers Dr. Brian Sturm, School of Information and Library Science (SILS) associate professor; and SILS master's students Elizabeth Matson and Megan
Hendershot who will perform stories from around the world.

Musical entertainment will include songs of the season and a sing-along. Music will be provided by Kate Barnhart (SILS Library), Kris Walz (Davis Library) and
Laurie Neuerburg (SILS master's student).

A reception at 5 p.m. will precede the program, designed for families and children of all ages. The event is free and open to all.
