The Annual 2007 Aging Exchange--Education, Research and Service at UNC at Chapel Hill
The fourth Annual Aging Exchange: Education, Research and Service at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill campus will be held on March 27, 2007 from 1:00 pm to 7:30 p.m. at Carolina Club, George Watts Hill Alumni Center, Stadium Drive at Ridge Road, Chapel Hill.
The event features a distinguished lecture by Dr. Laura Gitlin, director, Center for Applied Research on Aging and Health, Jefferson College of Health Professions, Thomas Jefferson University, “Listening to the Voices of Older African Americans: New Directions in Supporting Mental Health.” The afternoon will also include a discussion of contributed papers and a presentation of the Gordon H. DeFriese Awards, which honor outstanding campus leaders and students; poster presentations that feature the work of graduate students and postdoctoral fellows; and an evening reception.
