Arthur Lipper to Teach Workshop on Business Ownership Preparation

If so, you have an opportunity to participate in a 20-hour workshop hosted by the School of Information and Library Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

"Business Ownership Preparation, A Workshop for Future Employers" is a concentrated, possibly life changing, workshop offered in five days. The workshop will be held November 5, 6, 7, 8 from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. in room 207 of Howell Hall and on November 9 from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. in room 209 of Manning Hall on the UNC at Chapel Hill campus.

Instructed by the world-renowned authority on venture financing, entrepreneur, management consultant, securities expert, author, lecturer and winner of numerous awards, Arthur Lipper III, the workshop will focus on topics such as:

Thursday, November 8
HR professional - Human resource practices and procedures
Basic accounting
Teams scheme, plot and plan their businesses, including deciding how much money will be required and what they will offer investors

What has worked and what hasn't worked
Executive Summary of the business plan
Investment thoughts

The cost of this first annual workshop will be $1,495 and $900 for registered students with a valid ID and includes the workshop, workshop materials, The Larry and Barry Guide to Entrepreneurial Wisdom, meals and a certificate of completion.
