Registration opens for Evidence Based Library and Information Practice Conference
Registration is now open for the "Transforming the Profession: Evidence Based Library and Information Practice" Fourth International Conference (EBLIP4) on May 6-11 in Chapel Hill and Durham, N.C.
The conference portion of EBLIP4 will run from May 6-9 and feature themed sessions on evidence-based practice in academic libraries, school library media, public libraries, health care, special libraries and evidence-based methodology. The conference will feature an impressive group of international keynote speakers including Andrew Booth from the United Kingdom, Rowena Cullen from New Zealand and Margaret Haines from Canada.
Two days of continuing education will follow the conference.
The conference and continuing education sessions will provide a forum for the presentation of high quality research papers and posters as well as examples of how EBLIP is being implemented in library and information settings around the globe.
Those interested in attending the conference can learn more about the activities scheduled and download the registration form by visiting the conference’s registration page.
The conference is also still accepting poster abstracts; information about how to submit those is on EBLIP4’s Web site.
