Dear friends and colleagues:
Some who received the paper copy of the winter issue of the School of Information and Library Science@Carolina newsletter through the U.S. Postal Service had a label with an incorrect last name. For reasons unknown, approximately halfway through our mailing list, the names in the “last name” column of the database dropped down one row. Although the first name and address information on the mailing labels were correct, the last names on some labels were incorrect. The database has been restored and we sincerely apologize for any confusion this has caused.
We have not experienced a problem with our database like this before, and we are taking measures to ensure it doesn’t happen again.
We hope you’ve successfully received your newsletter and enjoy reading the current news and happenings of the students, faculty, alumni and staff associated with the School of Information and Library Science. Remember, we always are delighted to receive your news. Please keep us informed by submitting your news items to share in an upcoming issue!
Best regards,
Wanda Monroe
Editor and Director of Communications
