Over the last five years, Burger's life has been dedicated to the 62,000 square foot Princeton Public Library, which opened to an enthusiastic community in April 2004.

She raised the profile of the library by building partnerships within the community and challenging notions of what a public library means for local residents. She ultimately convinced donors to contribute $21 million to the library's capital and endowment campaigns. Burger is recognized as an accomplished speaker, writer and consultant and is recognized by colleagues for her expertise in the media on issues related to the future of libraries, revitalizing downtown areas, and fundraising.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. in room 209 of Manning Hall with Burger's keynote address, followed by a reception in the lobby at 6:30 p.m. The panel discussion will begin at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
