2nd annual Science Bloggers Conference set

Nov. 13, 2007 - Registration for the 2nd annual Science Bloggers Conference is now open. This free, collaborative, open conference for those interested in science communication, education and literacy on the Web will be held Saturday, January 19, 2008 at the Sigma Xi Center in Research Triangle Park, NC.
The North Carolina Science Bloggers Conference is a public event for scientists, educators, students, journalists, bloggers and others interested in science on the Web. The program will combine presentations, panel and open discussions and demonstrations.
Attendees will learn about a variety of issues and perspectives on science communication, including Science blogging ethics, the use of online tools in the science classroom, gender and race in science, science journalism, blogging health and medicine and many more.
