Nov. 8, 2007 - The ROTC of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill will honor veterans during a special tribute on November 9 at the Newman Catholic Student Center Parish at 218 Pittsboro St.
Officially, November 11, 2007 has been proclaimed Veteran's Day, and the week of November 11 through November 17, 2007, has been set aside as “National Veterans Awareness Week." These are days devoted to honor those who serve or who have served our country in uniform.
