Holiday Spirits - Storytelling and Musical Entertainment

Nov. 8, 2007 - Get ready for great storytelling and musical entertainment for children and adults alike. The annual winter story telling and musical extravaganza event will once again be held on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

"Holiday Spirits" will be presented on Thursday, December 6th from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. in the Pleasants Family Room of the Louis Round Wilson Library.

The performance highlights storytellers Dr. Brian Sturm, School of Information and Library Science (SILS) associate professor; and SILS master's students Elizabeth Matson, Libby Gorman, Paul Causey and Lisa Long.

Musical entertainment will include songs of the season and a sing-along. Music will be provided by Kate Barnhart (SILS Library), Laurie Neuerburg (SILS master's student), Paul Causey, Jeff Crawford, Carter Gaj and Sarah Alward.

A reception at 5 p.m. will precede the program, designed for families and children of all ages. The event is free and open to all.

"Holiday Spirits" is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Campus parking is available after 5:00 p.m. in most lots.
