Professor from University of Tsukuba, Japan,
to lecture at SILS

Dr. Shigeo Sugimoto, a professor at the Graduate School of Library, Information and Media Studies at the University of Tsukuba, Japan, will visit UNC's School of Information and Library Science May 19.

Sugimoto's 11 a.m. lecture, "Perspectives on Japanese Digital Library Activities and Recent Activities Related to Metadata at Tsukuba," will be in 209 Manning Hall.
