UNC Health Sciences Library
to be featured on UNC-TV

The UNC at Chapel Hill Health Sciences Library will be featured in a segment of the UNC-TV program, North Carolina Now scheduled to be aired at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 5.

In a segment on health literacy, Library Director Carol Jenkins will discuss the library’s role in serving the health information needs of the general public. NC Health Info Project Director Christie Silbajoris will demonstrate NC Health Info, one of the Library’s online resources. The NC Health Info web site allows users to search for websites of local health services in North Carolina and links to quality reliable health information through the National Library of Medicine’s MEDLINEplus web site.
