The SILS Board of Visitors serve as trusted advisors on educational, research and service programs for the School. The Board assists SILS in enhancing the perception of the School, encouraging the highest quality education, participating in strategic planning, evaluating the School's progress and aiming to increase overall support.

Carolina First Campaign Committee

The SILS Carolina First Campaign Committee provides strategic advice and feedback on the School's fundraising campaign plan; works closely with the Dean, director of development, and other board members to identify, cultivate and solicit prospective donors; serves as representatives on the university-wide campaign leadership committee; reviews and provides feedback on correspondence, proposals, etc., as necessary; and assists with fundraising events and solicitations. The Louis Round Wilson Academy

The central pillar supporting The Knowledge Trust, the Louis Round Wilson Academy, will define and disseminate the primary tenets of 21st century information and library science and service.
