SILS offers various ways that students can engage in international study: through short-term summer seminars and longer-term study abroad arrangements.

Summer Seminars for 2008 - THE SUMMER SEMINARS ARE NOW CLOSED. PLEASE WATCH THIS SITE IN FALL 2008 FOR NEXT YEAR'S OFFERINGS.

International summer seminars are open to all students and professionals, not just students at UNC at Chapel Hill. Librarians at all stages of their careers have participated and enjoyed these programs in the past and are welcome to participate.

SILS offers summer seminars in two countries:

Study Abroad

For students who want to spend a longer time in an international setting, SILS provides semester-long study abroad opportunities. These opportunities are open to SILS students only.
