Enrollment Options for School Library Media Coordinator Program

There are three ways to obtain the School Library Media Certification: as part of your studies for the MSLS; through a License-only program for those who possess an MSLS and need only a few more courses to satisfy requirements; or through the Certificate of Advanced Study for those who possess an MSLS but need to complete a larger number of the requirements.

Applicants with a Master's degree in library science may only need to take a few courses to satisfy requirements. If the courses are offered on-campus at UNC at Chapel Hill, enrollment is through The Friday Center/Continuing Education.
