A Bold Vision

SILS is embarking on an ambitious campaign to raise $5 million from alumni and friends as a part of the University-wide Carolina First campaign. To help achieve that goal, a SILS Carolina First Campaign Committee has been formed to provide strategic advice and feedback on the campaign. Carolina First, with a goal of $1.8 billion, will transform the University and will assist in keeping the School at the pinnacle of excellence by enabling us to invest in three key areas:

Students: Educating the leaders of tomorrow - $2 Million
Faculty: Attracting and retaining the best - $2 Million
Research and Service: Focusing on the public good - $1 Million
