“YouTube & Test Tubes: Digital Storytelling in the Sciences” and Science Storytelling with Dr. Brian Sturm - UNC's Science Festival

School of Information and Library Science students and Dr. Brian Sturm, associate professor, will participate in the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Science Expo, scheduled for Sept. 25, 2010.

UNC will host an exciting array of speakers, performers and activities

throughout the day including Dr. Sturm, who will present, "Science Storytelling" on the Science Stage in Morehead Planetarium at 2:15 p.m.

 

“YouTube & Test Tubes” will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Morehead Planetarium digital theater (in the space formerly known as the NASA Digital Theater – not in the dome), and will feature Ph.D. student Heather Barnes, who will be screening a short video she made. Mike Nutt, who created the interdisciplinary student group, Carolina Digital Story Lab, will moderate the student-led discussion panel. For more information, visit: www.moreheadplanetarium.org
