Author Kelly Starling Lyons: “Diversity in Children’s Literature”

Please join us to hear a thought-provoking presentation by local writer and children’s book author Kelly Starling Lyons. The event will be at the Information and Library Science Library in Manning Hall at 5 p.m. on March 28. Her topic will be “Diversity in Children’s Literature.”  She is one of the founding members of the blog The Brown Bookshelf, created by authors and book illustrators to raise awareness of African American voices creating literature for children.
