MLK Lecture & Awards with Patrisse Cullors of #BlackLivesMatter Movement

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill will host its 40th annual MLK Lecture and Awards Ceremony (virtually) on Tuesday, Jan. 26, at 6:00 p.m.

The keynote speaker for the lecture will be Patrisse Cullors, co-founder of the #BlackLivesMatter movement. An artist, organizer, educator and popular public speaker, Ms. Cullors is a Los Angeles native, co-founder and executive director of the Black Lives Matter Global Network, and founder of the grassroots, Los Angeles-based organization, Dignity and Power Now. 

Also, we will recognize the recipients of the Unsung Hero Award and MLK Scholarship Award.
