JMP
SILS lab computers are updated yearly with JMP statistical software. In order to install JMP on a personal computer UNC students must first obtain a JMP license at https://software.unc.edu/jmp. To expedite the installation, SILS students may borrow the JMP installation CD from the SILS Help Desk.
ITS Virtual Lab
The ITS Virtual Lab provides on-demand access to a wide variety of applications, including statistical software, for anyone with a valid ONYEN and is available 24/7. For more information, please see our ITS Virtual Lab page.
Odum Institute
Additional statistical applications and services are available in the Odum Institute for Research in Social Science located on the second floor of Davis Library. Many more specialized applications are available remotely at any time through the Odum Institute's VCL service. This includes SPSS, ArcGIS/ENVI+IDL/SAS, Atlas.ti, NVivo, HLM/LISREL/MULTILOG, LaTeX, Mathematica, and MATLAB. To connect visit http://vcl.unc.edu.
