On Sunday, Dec. 18th, the School of Information and Library Science (SILS) conducted its Fall commencement ceremony and celebration for students who completed their degree requirements.

Ceremony
The SILS ceremony began at 10 a.m. in the Pleasants Family Assembly Room of the Louis Round Wilson Library.
Guest Speaker
John Ulmschneider, SILS alumnus and University Librarian and Professor at the Virginia Commonwealth University Libraries, was the guest speaker for the commencement ceremony. He was also honored by the SILS Alumni Association as a 2011 Distinguished Alumnus.
