Staff from the School of Information and Library Science participated in the 2011 Jingle Bell Jog on Dec. 9, 2011. The Jingle Bell Jog is an annual event sponsored by UNC at Chapel Hill Campus Recreation to promote good health and well being. Staff and faculty participate in either a three mile run or a one and half mile walk. Contributions of food are accepted for local groups and this year pet donations were requested for the Orange County Animal Shelter. Refreshments and door prizes were offered. Congratulations to Wake Harper, Student Services assistant, who won free rental of camping equipment for his next camping trip, and to Shaundria Williams, manager of SILS Human Resources, who won a lovely necklace.
