Alumni of the School of Information and Library Science (SILS) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill are succeeding at every turn. When we learn of their accomplishments, we applaud and share them. We tell their stories and share their news in the "SILS News" section and on our social media sites. SILS has approximately 4,700 alumni who are outstanding in the field of information and library science.
Several of our alumni are participating in the "Alumni Profile" section of the SILS Web site at: http://sils.unc.edu/people/alumni-profiles. If you are a SILS alumni who would like to participate, please send an e-mail message to firstname.lastname@example.org to share what you've been doing since your graduation.
A video that presents a small sampling of the exceptional things that are being accomplished by SILS alumni has been produced by another outstanding alumna and current doctoral student, Casey H. Rawson (MSLS '11). To keep up with the recent happenings of the School, or historical announcements, please check the Web site (sils.unc.edu) frequently or connect with SILS via one of the social media methods such as Facebook (Facebook.com/uncsils) or Twitter (twitter.com/uncsils). Enjoy the video!
