Angela Murillo, doctoral student at the School of Information and Library Science (SILS) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, presented a poster about her research at the U.S. DataONE Datanet all hands meeting held Oct. 22, 2013 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The title of the poster was "Data Sharing and Reuse in the Sciences: An Investigation of Selected Cyberinfrastructure and Interoperability Elements."
This poster presents Murillo's preliminary proposal for her dissertation research. The purpose of this research is to examine cyberinfrastructure and interinteroperability elements that facilitate or interfere with data sharing and reuse. The specific environment of interest is the US DataNets, and the test environment isDataONE. By gaining feedback from the DataONE user community this study will assist in the understanding of factors that impact data sharing and reuse in the sciences.
