Snapshot Day to Include Storytelling by Dr. Brian Sturm, SILS Graduate Students

April 12, 2013

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Libraries will honor "Snapshot Day" with photo sharing, storytelling, a photo booth, donuts and lots of fun on Tuesday, April 16, 2013.  Join Dr. Brian Sturm, associate professor at the School of Information and Library Science (SILS) and students Brianna Leesch, Nicole Lehotsky, Marli Johnston and Hugh Koeze for 45 minutes of storytelling entertainment in the SILS Library at 10 a.m.

Stories will be geared for an adult audience and include personal narratives, literary tales, folklore and fiction. Come ready to be entertained and, perhaps, challenged to think about your world in new ways.

Other "Snapshot Day" activities includes a tour of Davis Library Tech Services at 1 p.m. Plus, there’s a fun contest involving sharing pictures taken in the library and participating in events such as a photo booth at the Undergraduate Library and/or a video at Davis.
