Tammy IvinsTammy Ivins (MSLS '11), reference librarian at Francis Marion University in Florence, SC, and alumna of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Information and Library Science, has seen her first peer-reviewed research article published. "A Case Study of Periodical Use by Library and Information Science Students" will be included in the spring issue of the Journal of Education in Library and Information Science (JELIS).

In addition to her position as reference librarian, Ivins is a faculty member at Francis Marion University. Her professional research interests include digital librarianship, outreach, instruction and the education of librarians
