Jennifer Lohmann, accomplished author and alumna of the UNC School of Information and Library Science (SILS), has just released her newest book Winning Ruby Heart. The book, a romance novel released September 1, tells the story of a champion athlete and the reporter who begins to develop feelings for her as he works to tell her story.
“Exposing world-class athlete Ruby Heart’s cheating scandal made reporter Micah Blackwell’s career. Falling in love with her now could end it. Yet watching her determination to return to the top, he can’t resist the woman she has become.”
Winning Ruby Heart, Lohmann’s fifth book, has already earned rave reviews. Library Journal described the book as “edgy, steamy, and thought provoking” and “a compelling and rewarding read.”
According to a Booklist review, “Librarian and author Lohmann, a Romance Writers of America Librarian of the Year, has written a remarkable story of a heroine who refuses to let her past mistakes define her future. Lohmann’s realistically flawed characters and emotionally compelling plot will resonate with readers who cherish ... groundbreaking contemporary romances..."
Lohmann’s other publications include Weekends in Carolina, A Promise for the Baby, The First Move, and Reservations for Two. Readers interested in learning more about the romance genre can plan to attend Durham County’s Fall into Romance Festival on November 7 and 8. For more information about the festival, contact Jennifer Lohmann at email@example.com.
Winning Ruby Heart is available for purchase in print and e-book forms from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Harlequin, and The Regulator.
