GIFABLE UNC, a project led by UNC School of Information and Library Science (SILS) master's student Kelsey Hammer and Research and Design Services Librarian Jenni Goforth (MSLS ’10), was featured by The Daily Tarheel in October.
The project gives students an opportunity to expand their design skills and, as Hammer said, “create a moving portrait of UNC.”
Hammer, who is earning her Master of Science in Library Science (MSLS), also delivered an Ignite Talk at the 2017 Digital Media & Learning Conference, October 4-6, at the University of California, Irvine, where she discussed the GIFABLE UNC project and the role of GIFs in our everyday lives.
The GIFABLE UNC contest continues until Nov. 15. For more information on the GIFABLE UNC contest, click here.
