The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Information and Library Science (SILS) is pleased to welcome Wendy Andrews as Associate Dean for Finance and Administration effective Aug. 15.
Wendy brings extensive experience as a leader in university finance positions at UNC-Chapel Hill, including 24 years in the Provost’s Office and in the School of Nursing before that. Additionally, Wendy has served on or led campus-level task forces that determine Annual Raise Process (ARP) policy and execution, the implementation of finance systems such as ConnectCarolina, and the Finance Liaison HR Council Internal Control & Governance Committee.
“I am excited that Wendy will join the SILS leadership team as our School enters its 10th decade of information and library education and research,” Gary Marchionini, SILS dean and Cary C. Boshamer Distinguished Professor, said. “Her expertise and experience will serve the school well as we continue to lead and shape the rapidly changing and growing information professions. Please join me in welcoming Wendy Andrews to SILS.”
