SILS seeks candidates for Wilson Distinguished Professorship
The UNC School of Information and Library Science (SILS) invites nominations and applications for the Louis Round Wilson Distinguished Professorship. This tenured, full professor appointment honors the legacy of Dr. Wilson, the first librarian at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and founder of SILS.
The school seeks a dynamic, senior leader to join us in shaping the future of librarianship and archival practice, including the roles these professions can play in empowering marginalized voices and bringing communities together.
The Wilson Professor will engage in research, teach, advise students, participate in professional activities, and share their expertise with both graduate and undergraduate students.
