Hannah was hired by BD Technologies in July 2001 as an Emerging Technologies Engineer. Since then she has held multiple positions within the Service Delivery organization, and she is now the Site Lead for BDT as well as a core team member of the Client Technologies group. Her recent projects include rolling out Windows 7 to BD Associates (22,000 machines globally) and creating End User Training. She also investigates and implements emerging technologies, including the Mobile Device platforms for BD.
"Just a few weeks before starting at SILS, I saw a posting from SILS about an internship at BD Technologies," said Hannah. "I was hired for the internship, which lasted two years, and following my graduation from SILS, was hired at BDT as a full-time employee. I am also proud to say that I followed in my Mom's footsteps by attending SILS. She is ALSO a graduate of the SILS program (but before the "I" was there), having received her MLS in 1984. Even though the school had not introduced Information Science yet, my Mom's focus was on computers in libraries and automation of information systems. "
