Paul Jones discusses the past and future of the internet with Well Said and Popular Mechanics

Carolina’s Well Said podcast recently interviewed UNC School of Information and Library Science (SILS) Professor Paul Jones and RENCI Senior Research Software Architect Michael Shoffner about the first radio broadcast streamed over the internet on Nov. 7, 1994. Shoffner was a DJ at WXYC, Carolina’s student radio station, when he and Jones worked together to make the historic broadcast happen.
