Register now for iSchool forum on inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility

The inaugural IDEA Forum on Wednesday, March 10, will bring together the iSchool community to connect on the critical topics of inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility (IDEA) impacting our field and the world.

The online event, scheduled for 11:00 am – 6:00pm EST, is free but you must register to attend.

The UNC School of Information and Library Science (SILS) is one of several iSchools collaborating on the forum.

SILS Associate Professor Amelia Gibson is a member of the keynote panel that will close the forum with a discussion on community-engaged research.

Megan Threats, a 2020 graduate of the SILS doctoral program and an Assistant Professor at the Rutgers iSchool, is part of an early afternoon panel titled “Making Critical Informatics Integral Within Undergraduate iSchool Curriculum.”
