Biography
I am a PhD candidate at UNC-SILS. I do research in HCI, information behavior, and health informatics. My dissertation investigates the role of working memory in search and sensemaking. I have previously investigated factors shaping information behaviors, including search medium, task complexity, and cognitive ability. I have also studied information seeking in specific contexts, including procedural search and health information seeking on social media platforms. Currently, I am working to finish up my dissertation and looking to further my research in the field of health information behavior, exploring how individuals seek, use, and engage with health-related information.
