Biography
Jeffrey Bardzell is Dean of the School of Information and Library Science at University of North Carolina—Chapel Hill. Previously, he served as Associate Dean of Graduate and Undergraduate Studies, and later Associate Dean of Faculty and Graduate Affairs, at the College of Information Science and Technology at Penn State University. With $4 million in external grants awarded to his institution as PI or co-PI, over a hundred peer-reviewed scientific publications, and nearly two dozen academic awards, Bardzell’s research has helped to shape humanities-based approaches to human-computer interaction and design research.
