Biography

Megan serves as the Assistant Director of Development. Her primary responsibilities include managing key areas of fundraising operations within the School of Information and Library Science including stewardship, annual giving, alumni relations and data operations.

Megan graduated from Appalachian State University in 2013 with a B.S. in Art Management and graduated from SUNY Buffalo with her Master’s in Arts Management (May 2016).  Prior to her position at SILS, Megan has spent the last ten years living in Buffalo, NY where she was able to serve multiple non-profit organizations in an array of areas including the Buffalo AKG Art Museum, the Irish Classical Theatre Company, the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and, most recently, Sisters Hospital Foundation and the Foundations of Catholic Health.

A native of Raleigh, NC, Megan is excited for her return and honored to be among the tar heel community.
