As part of its 90th anniversary celebration, the UNC School of Information and Library Science (SILS) is hosting a year-long examination of how technological developments and social upheavals, including those ushered by the COVID-19 pandemic, will shape information and knowledge work in the years and decades ahead.

Register now for the Symposium on AI and Knowledge Work, a half-day virtual event divided into four main components:

“Framing AI, Knowledge Work, and the Public Sphere”
Opening talk by Zeynep Tufekci, SILS Associate Professor and Principal Researcher at the Center for Information, Technology, and Public Life (CITAP)

“How is Knowledge-Intensive Work-Influenced by Advanced Technologies?”
Panel discussion moderated by SILS Dean and Professor Gary Marchionini
