Career and Professional Development

SILS works closely University Career Services in helping students locate internships, part-time work, and jobs after graduation. As well as advice with cover letters and resumes. They also host a multitude of job fairs, information sessions, and on-campus interview events with prospective employers.

The Graduate Student Professional Development Program, run by the Graduate School,  provides valuable workshops and one credit hour courses on a variety of topics including presentation skills, residency workshops, communication skills, academic interviewing and more.
