SILS faculty lightning talks start Aug. 21
The UNC School of Information and Library Science (SILS) will host faculty lightning talks each Friday at 12:00pm from Aug. 21 to Sept. 25. These virtual events are open to everyone.
Faculty members will give brief (10 minutes or less) talks on their research interests and projects.
Click on the dates below for links to join individual events via Microsoft Teams. Click on faculty members names to learn more about their expertise and interests.
You do not need the Teams app to attend. Simply choose “Watch on the web instead” and the event will stream through your web browser.
Live viewers will have an opportunity to ask questions via a moderated chat, but talks will also be recorded and shared on YouTube.
